MinoMiyabi

“Miyabi” is a Japanese word, meaning “elegance” in the hope of my parents. Based on my name and foundations from animation and illustration, my pursuit of art is focused on the balance of aestheticism and consistent logics. Born in Yokohama, I studied Astrophysics in Tokyo University of Science, and Animation in Academy of Art University. I started my career as an animator at Los Angeles-based productions, as a concept designer at Walt Disney Imagineering, and I recently worked with known artists such as Gorillaz, LISA, YUNGBLUD and more, also collaboration projects with All Nippon Airways (ANA), Balmain x Fashion Week 2021. I have extended my activity to drawing workshops at Anime EXPO, and Comic-Con International since 2012, and Naoki Urasawa‘s exhibitions in Japan House LA, 2019.

Currently working on JEHANNE and a few original comic series, I foresees my future as not only careers but also activities onto vast creative fields by collecting the significant elements of my life.
